‘E-Skills for Impact’ launched with the training in Moldova

Last month two volunteers of the Foundation 787 – Elma Muric, media worker and Emela Fazlić, economy student – took part in the Erasmus+ mobility project ‘E-Skills for Impact’ that was kicked off with the training week held in Moldova.

Along with participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldovan NGO INVENTO hosted a group of youth workers from another five countries – Luxembourg, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and Greece.

„E-skills for Impact” project training, held from May 8th to 13th, in Chisinau, capital city of Moldova, was a six day training course that aimed to equip youth leaders and youth workers with a set of e-tools that gave youth workers the opportunity to excel at online management and communication.

During these 6 days, participants had chance to learn more about building the online platforms for internal communication, project management and collaborative work, with special accent on crowdfunding and digital tools for fundraising, online platforms for design, digital marketing for NGOs and many other things every NGO worker has to deal with.

“This was truly great experience for me, especially as hosts and trainers gave their best not only in teaching the participants new skills, but also in making us feel like home for a whole week of training. Training reflected one of the main goals when it comes to Erasmus+ projects – connecting with other people who share same ideas and making new friendships. I personally value this as the most important part of any Erasmus mobility”, said Elma Muric, one of the Foundation 787 volunteers on this project.

„E-skills for Impact” is an Erasmus+ mobility project implemented by INVENTO and Women in Digital Empowerment (WIDE) from Luxembourg in partnership with the Foundation 787. This training was the first part of the project, while the second and final phase of it will be conducted in Thessaloniki, Greece, in September.
