Participation in panel and realization of the workshop within the project FY4ICT at INTERA Technology Park Mostar

Young girls from Budva, Niksic, Banja Luka and Mostar gathered on March 26, 2018 at INTERA Technology Park to participate in a two-day workshop „Building entrepreneurial mindset“.

A workshop targeting girls interested in development of entrepreneurial spirit in the ICT sector, started with an interactive panel consisting of women representatives from business, ICT and educational sector, as well as public institutions and non-governmental organizations. Apart from Dijana Duvnjak and Dajana Dzindo from Foundation 787, Andrea Cordas representing Nsoft & Spark, Jasminka Hasic Telalovic from IUS, Tamara Puhovski from Croatian, Erna Sosevic from, Anita Peric from Employment Bureau of HNC and Dzana Basic representing IT Girls initiative also participated in the panel.

The aim of the panel was to transfer experiences and the latest trends from the world of entrepreneurship and ICT, and to compare Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro with the countries of the European Union in the field of entrepreneurship and IT industry.

After the panel, girls had opportunity to personally talk to each panelist through a networking session, which was a perfect opportunity to exchange thoughts and additional enthusiasm and motivation that young girls very much need. Emphasis was placed on the fact that the challenges that women today face in an entrepreneurial environment should not be a threat but an opportunity for a positive change.

Second day of the workshop was dedicated for learning about the development of startups and entrepreneurship in general. Representatives of the Foundation 787 held a workshop in which participant of the FY4ICT project got acquainted with terms such as entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, lean methodology, etc. and presented them with opportunities for development and ways of acting in the future.

Workshop „Building entrepreneurial mindset“ is first in a series of workshops to be held as a part of the project „Supporting Female Youth from BiH and MNE in entrepreneurship, employment and leadership in ICT“. Project activities in BiH are implemented by INTERA Technology Park Mostar.
